Suzanne Myers Performance Horses is thrilled to welcome Megan Moos to the SMPH team! Megan joins us officially as a barn manager and reproductive specialist and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the equine industry. Megan comes to SMPH all the way from Texas and has spent most of her life working with horses. For 4 years she was the owner and CEO of the equine export company Blue Steel Equine Export. Megan worked closely with the USDA and international governments to secure export requirements for quality show and breeding horses, managed their entry into aircraft, and traveled to over 28 countries to oversee the safe arrival to their destinations. Later, Megan joined the premier Brazos Valley Stallion Station as their logistics coordinator and collection technician. There, she routinely collected and assisted processing semen from some of the industry’s best stallions including Metallic Cat, Dual Reyish, Badboonarising, and many others. Megan was responsible for the billing and shipment of thousands of semen orders during the breeding season, as well as processing breeding contracts and stallion breeding reports.
Megan is a wonderful asset to the SMPH program and we are excited about the expertise she brings to our reining horse breeding program in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. SMPH is breeding premier reining horse prospects by top stallions in the industry including SG Frozen Enterprize, Inferno 66, A Vintage Smoke, Platinum Vintage, Whizkey N Diamonds, and others. Megan will do an amazing job as barn and breeding manager and will help propel the SMPH breeding program to the next level. Learn more about our breeding program here.
